Polish Musicological Yearbook - news

We are glad to announce that the new volume of the “Polish Musicological Yearbook” was published on this site in the ALL ISSUES menu. The 2022 edition (No. 20) of the “Yearbook” is entitled “Women and Music” and contains (among others) a number of papers presented during the 50th Musicological Conference of the Polish Composers Union, “Music of Women. Women in Music”, which was organised on 9–11 September 2021 at the Faculty of Art (Institute of Music), University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. We hope you will find them interesting and inspiring. The printed version of this issue will be soon available at the PWM Edition internet bookstore. We are very proud to announce that the 19th vol. We are very happy to announce that all articles of the 19. volume of the POLISH MUSICOLOGICAL YEARBOOK are available for reading on this site in the ALL ISSUES menu (2021). The whole volume is also going to be published soon on the Sciendo digital platform, whereas its printed version is being just produced by the PWM Edition and will be available for purchase at their internet bookshop.

The printed version of vol. 18 of the “Polski Rocznik Muzykologiczny” (PRM – Polish Musicological Yearbook) is available for purchase at the internet bookshop of the PWM Edition, Kraków. PWM Edition is the publisher of the PRM printed version since 2016.

We are proud to announce that a new co-operation was inaugurated in the last quarter of 2020, which will result in publishing the next issue of the PRM at the Sciendo / De Gruyter platform. 

We are happy to announce that the current issue of the “Yearbook” - Vol 18, entitled „Karol Szymanowski w kulturze XX i XXI wieku” (“Karol Szymanowski in the 20th- and 21st-century Culture”) - is available for reading in the ALL ISSUES menu of our website. This issue has been co-financed by the Society of Authors ZAiKS. We would like to express our gratitude to the Society for their support. Printed version will be available for purchase at the PWM Edition website in January 2021.

We are very glad to let you know that the English version of the website was up-dated - you can now browse the "ALL ISSUES" menu to read the full articles since 2011, as well as lists of contents for volumes 2004-2010.
